TABLOIDBINTANG.COM – The film KKN Di Desa Penari, produced by MD Picture, became the highest-grossing film of all time with 9.2 million viewers.
After gaining great success, Manoj Punjabi as CEO of MD Pictures and producer announced that he would return to showing the film KKN Di Desa Penari in theaters starting December 29, 2022.
The film, directed by Awi Suryadi, will be shown an older version with an extra 40 minutes, which is more Luwih, More Medeni or longer and more sinister.
Manoj revealed that Community Service in the Dancer Village with an extra 40 minutes was issued at the request of fans. He also promised that KKN, which aired on year-end holidays, would be presented in the full version of the story by the author, Mr. Simpleman.
“There were many questions when KKN was released, here everything can be more complete, more horrifying, the term we make this for me is not just making use of it, for the KKN film in the Penari Village it is just extended, but requests from fans, we see the potential, it would be a shame if we don’t convey it,” said Manoj Punjabi in a press conference at CGV Grand Indonesia, Central Jakarta, Monday (10/10).
Manoj ensures that the KKN that will be issued will provide a new experience for the audience even though they have already watched the KKN in theaters.
“Additionally, for more than 40 minutes, the editing is all different. The scene you see is now even deeper,” explained Manoj.
According to Manoj Punjabi, KKN in Extended Dancer Village is a challenge because it is not an easy job considering the enthusiasm of the audience.
“For us, this makes a new film, a new film experience. Hopefully we will be more curious, we hope to get even more new from this KKN film,” concluded Manoj Punjabi.
