Process of Filming from Casting
According to Jamaluddin Latif alias Kotrek, initially he was invited to join the Tilik The Series project, then went through a casting process. “Before, it wasn’t the Kotrek character, try something else. However, in the end the directing team decided to become Corkscrews. Wow, I’m also interested in Kotrek, he’s such a fun character. So, I want that,” he said.

Similar to Jamaluddin Latif, Aryudha Fasha also went through the casting process. However, the difference is that Aryudha Fasha actually offered to play Nopek. “I offered myself because actually I used to be a crew and assistant director. As time goes by, finding Nopek’s character is challenging. In the end, I was asked to participate in the casting and the directing team was chosen, “he said.
Persona or Nopek and Corkscrew Character Traits according to The Cast View of The Series
“Kotrek is a figure that I think is independent. Nice people. Anyway, he helps people indiscriminately, whoever, whether it’s not in harmony with his heart and mind, he still helps. What other people need, Kotrek will help with whatever work they do,” said Jamaluddin Latif.
Even so, according to him, Kotrek also has a bad character, namely he is quite messy, aka often in a hurry to do things.

Apart from Jamaluddin Latif, Aryudha Fasha also discussed Nopek’s character. He said, Nopek was highly dedicated to Karang Taruna. Here’s the comment:
“Nopek as chairman of Karang Taruna wants to continue to support his organization. He has a great sense of loyalty to his friends, especially to his Karang Taruna friends. The bad thing is, Nopek still has the fiery youth fervor, so everything is brushed aside like that. You don’t need to think long and hard, it’s a bit inconsequential,” said Aryudha Fasha.
