Sewu Dino’s film is viral, how come issuer Manoj Punjabi ARB shares?

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The shares of issuers producing wide-screen films, namely PT MD Pictures Tbk (FILM), were observed to have sunk again and have touched auto reject (ARB) in trading session I Thursday (27/4/2023). FILM shares also briefly touched ARB in yesterday’s trading.

As of 10:01 WIB, FILM’s shares were observed to have fallen 6.91% to a price position of IDR 1,820/share. FILM shares also touched ARB this morning.

FILM shares have been traded 1,256 times with a volume of 4.54 million shares and the transaction value has reached Rp 8.35 billion. The market capitalization currently reaches IDR 17.31 trillion.

Until 10:01 WIB, in order to offer or sell, there were 8,100 lots queued at a price of Rp. 1,820/share, which at this price was also the biggest queue for selling this morning.

However, in bid or buy orders, there is no queue that is displayed again, indicating that FILM shares have touched ARB.

It is known that FILM’s shares have fallen since yesterday’s trading. During trading last Wednesday, FILM shares closed down 6.36% to Rp 1,955/share and also touched ARB yesterday.

With FILM shares falling again this morning, FILM shares have fallen 13.33% in the last two days. It is not known exactly what caused the decline in FILM’s shares in the last two days.

Worse, FILM’s stocks sank when it was claimed that the production of its newest film, Sewu Dino, was in full swing during the 2023 Eid holiday.

The film Sewu Dino managed to get a positive response from the people of Indonesia, especially film lovers. Evidently, the film directed by Kimo Stamboel managed to reach an audience of more than one million viewers in less than a week or more precisely six days since it premiered in theaters.
