TABLOIDBINTANG.COM – Manoj Punjabi, producer from MD Pictures, did not expect that the KKN Di Desa Penari film would still receive high attention from its fans. Even though the horror film adapted from the phenomenal story and best selling novel by Simpleman has failed to air twice due to the pandemic since 2019.
KKN in the Dancer Village is confirmed to air starting April 30, 2022, during the Eid holiday. The enthusiasm of the audience was already felt. It hasn’t aired yet, KKN Di Desa Penari fans are already hunting for cinema tickets. In several big cities in Central Java, cinema seats are almost full to watch the KKN Di Desa Penari film on April 30 2022.
“Very excited! Glad to see so many people are very interested and can’t wait to watch KKN in the Dancer Village. It’s even more exciting to see lots of people posting screenshots of cinemas that have sold out and are all red,” said Manoj Punjabi to Tabloid bintang.comMonday (25/4).
The film directed by Awi Suryadi stars Tissa Biani, Adinda Thomas, Achmad Megantara, Aghniny Haque, Calvin Jeremy, M Fajar Nugraha, Kiki Narendra, Aulia Sarah.
Manoj also hopes that the audience’s enthusiasm can be felt in several other cities. “For now, the most ticket sales are still in the Java Islands. We hope that in the next few days it can spread throughout Indonesia,” hoped Manoj Punjabi.
Seeing the enthusiasm of the fans, Manoj Punjabi is also optimistic that KKN in the Dancer Village can get a place as well as answer the curiosity of netizens. “I’m sure good content will be well-received, God willing, it will hit the Box Office. I’m sure KKN in Desa Penari is one of the best and strongest horror and thriller films from MD Pictures. After waiting for two years, I’m happy to see the enthusiasm of the audience. The enthusiasm of all KKN fans at the Dancer Village exceeded my expectations,” concluded Manoj Punjabi.
Previously, the founder of the MD Entertainment Production House, Manoj Punjabi, stated that the original characters in the KKN story in the Dancer Village were not involved in making the film. Filming is also deliberately done in different places to maintain privacy. The KKN story at the Penari Village was first uploaded on Twitter by the account @SimpleM81378523 alias SimpleMan. The thread soon went viral and received a wide response from the public trying to guess at the location of the Dancing Village.
KKN in Penari Village tells about KKN activities in the East Java region in 2009 which ended in grief. Not long after the tweet went viral, MD Pictures made the story into a feature film.
