TABLOIDBINTANG.COM – The Layangan Putus series starring Reza Rahadian, Putri Marino and Anya Geraldine has been trending and has become a popular drama show in Indonesian society since the end of 2021. Apart from a strong story, the scenes and dialogues of the players also created mixed emotions in the audience which led to the success of the series.
Reza plays Aris, a family man who has an affair or is having an affair with another woman. Putri Marino plays Kinan, the wife of Aris who tries to prove that her husband is having an affair with Lidya, played by Anya Geraldine.
Manoj Punjabi, CEO & Founder of MD Pictures as the producer of Layangan Putus explained about the selection of actors and actresses. Manoj said Reza was the first choice asked to play Aris.
“There are no candidates. I’m usually the first to find a suitable one. From the first we thought of Reza because here Aris, if only the face of Polygamy is Fedi Nuril. But if Aris is not the face of Fedi Nuril. I see Reza is already suitable,” said Manoj Punjabi to Tabloid bintang. com recently.
According to Manoj, even though the story about polygamy on the Kite Breaking Up was worked on with a universal view. Fedi Nuril deserves to play a polygamous and religious husband, but Manoj doesn’t want Layangan Disconnect to be a story about polygamy.
When he was first offered the role of Aris, Reza immediately accepted without thinking. In fact, Reza had just been told the storyline without reading the script for the Layang Disconnect.
“Fedi Nuril is the face of polygamy. Reza’s face can go back and forth, different in personality. When I asked Reza, it was great that he immediately agreed. I said this was for a web series, he didn’t even think about it. Even though he hadn’t read the script, I just said it ,” explained Manoj Punjabi.
Regarding the selection of Putri Marino to become Kinan, Manoj admitted that he received references from Reza Rahadian. Finally, after acting, Reza and Putri Marino found unexpected chemistry.
“Interestingly, when looking for Kinan’s character, I was chatting with Reza. I said who would be Kinan, Reza said why not Putri Marino.
So Princess Marino was a suggestion from Reza. I also accept. and they are matching. Moreover, Princess Marino still looks young,” concluded Manoj Punjabi.
