Jakarta, 12 May 2023MD Entertainment and Disney+Hotstar will soon release the first horror series from Danur Universenamely the Risa Journal series, which will air exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar starting May 27, 2023.
Risa Journal Series Based on the True Story of Risa Saraswati
“Jurnal Risa” tells a story adapted from novel by Risa Saraswati entitled “Jurnal Risa: School Holiday Terror” which will be released in 2020.
Set in the 1990s, the story begins when Risa is on vacation in Bandung with her cousins, namely Angga, Nicko, Kakang, Indy, and Riri. They also meet new friends, namely Agus, Dewi, and Kulon who are nicknamed ‘The Crew’.
Directed by a reliable director, Awi Suryadi, “Jurnal Risa” comes in a serial format of 10 episodes.
Risa’s horror story and friends are presented with a new concept, which is an exciting adventure but still full of gripping and tense terror typical of Risa’s Journal.
Jurnal Risa the Series is played by Shofia Shireen as Risa, Sheryl Drisanna as Dewi, Ali Fikry as Angga, Muhammad Ozkan as Nicko, Keanu Azka as Kakang, Alesha Fadillah as Indi, Alleyra Fakhira as Riri, Dimas Putra as Agus and Quentin Stanislavski as Kulon .
So, when is the Risa Journal aired? Now, “Jurnal Risa” can be watched by viewers in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and Singapore exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar starting May 27 2023 with one new episode every Saturday in the following weeks.

Greeting Indonesian music listeners again, finally Risa Saraswati released the song ‘Fear’. Apart from the new arrangement, Risa Saraswati also revealed that the latest song ‘Takut’ has something special because she sings her own sinden part.
Risa Saraswati is known for her unique abilities. To channel the story, Risa Saraswati also wrote it in a work and one of them is in this song. ‘Takut’ is a song that describes the point of view of Risa Saraswati’s story when she experienced the first time as well as something that is currently her strength.
