MD Pictures, a film production company, will release its latest horror film Sewu Dino on April 19, 2023. The film is based on a Twitter thread by @SimpleMan, who also wrote the story for KKN in Desa Penari. CEO of MD Entertainment, Manoj Punjabi, revealed that Sewu Dino is just the beginning of a trilogy by SimpleMan and hinted at a potentially important scene between Sri and Sugi that could lead to a sequel. Kimo Stamboel is still the chosen director for the project. Manoj stated that Kimo is difficult to replace and is always welcome to come back.
