TABLOIDBINTANG.COM – The film KKN Di Desa Penari received extraordinary appreciation from the Indonesian people. This horror film directed by MD Pictures broke the record as the highest-grossing national film of all time with 7 million viewers in 19 days, since its release on April 30, 2022.

CEO of MD Pictures as well as producer of Community Service Program in Dancer Village, Manoj Punjabi through his uploads on his Instagram account expressed his gratitude for the achievements achieved.

“I am very grateful because the KKN film in the Dancer Village received an extraordinary response,” said Manoj Punjabi on the account @manojpunjabimd, Thursday (19/5).

Manoj Punjabi shared his happiness while uploading a video with Badarawuhi, played by Aulia Sarah, in the KKN film at the Dancer Village, complete with her dance attire.

Badarawuhi is a spirit, a demon from the South Coast who is very beautiful and is described as a dancer with the body of a snake and wearing a shawl. A moment later, Manoj Punjabi was surprised to see Aulia Sarah who appeared right behind him.

The achievement of the KKN film in the Penari Village reached 7 million viewers, now it is in the top position as Indonesia’s highest-grossing film, surpassing the film Warkop DKI Reborn: Jangkrik Boss! Part 1 (2016) and Dilan 1990 (2018). Warkop DKI Reborn Movie Jangkrik Boss! Part 1 was watched by 6.8 million people, while the film Dilan 1990 was watched by 6.3 million people.
